A preview gives the patient something concrete to react to, so it is easier to explain the proposed direction and agree on next steps while they are still in the chair. Each preview is generated by AI from the photo you upload: it shows a possible direction, not a treatment plan or a guaranteed result, and the dentist confirms what is clinically possible.

Photos and previews stay private to your account and are encrypted in transit and at rest. A patient sees a preview only through its private share link, which works for 90 days. Deleting the preview or its case turns the link off right away. You can delete a case, a preview, or your whole account in the app. Elegant Smile is not a HIPAA-covered service, and we don't sign Business Associate Agreements (BAAs), so your practice decides what to upload and handles patient consent.
